I genuinely want you to choose the best wedding photographer for YOU. I believe choosing your wedding photographer is not just a process of finding a style you like, but also a person you want to spend the day with. You'll most likely be with your wedding photographer on your wedding day more than you will be with your spouse!
I am a true-to-life film and digital photographer because I believe the stories we keep and tell to ourselves and our posterity are important - even vital. I want your photos to be an honest, sentimental portrayal of your love and your day.

I've been shooting since 2009, which means I've seen a LOT of weddings, venues, weather and lighting scenarios, families, and more. I can read and anticipate meaningful moments and emotions, and can pivot and go with the flow of the day or session.

I know it's going to sound like a cliche, but honestly....the thing that makes me different is me :) Believe it or not, when it comes to your wedding day, you'll be with your photographer more than your spouse! So make sure you not only love their images, but their personality, too. Your photographer will be interacting with you, your spouse, your family + wedding party, the other guests, and all other vendors. They can completely change the feeling of your whole day!
Whether it's a wedding day or a session, if you work with me, you can be assured I'll come with a cheerful, calming presence that keeps everyone relaxed but also on time and running smoothly!

We'll chat on the phone to go over your photography dreams for your wedding day, and I can help make them a reality! We also determine how many hours of coverage you may need, if you'd like a second photographer or an engagement session, and more!

You decide I'm the perfect photographer for your day! Yay! I'll send over a contract for you to sign digitally. Then a digital invoice for you to pay the 30% retainer that holds your date, and that makes you an official Meghan Rose Couple!

7-8 hours of wedding day coverage
This is the perfect sweet spot for me to be there from getting ready to grooving on the dance floor! I've found that anything less than this means I miss out on telling important parts of your wedding day story. We can also always add on time as we get closer to the wedding day and finalize your timeline, but 8 hours is the best starting point!
a Second photographer
Having another photographer with me on your wedding day is so helpful in making your timeline flow smoothly. It allows me to be in two places at once - both of you getting ready at the same time, or perhaps family portraits and cocktail hour. Plus, you'll get two different views of your wedding day. They are also a backup to my backup plan, another hand to bring you a drink or snack, fluff your dress, or hold the veil. All second photographers are hand-picked by me, and all images are edited by me for a cohesive gallery.

All your edited images will be delivered to you via an online gallery for you to view, share, print, and download your photos. The link will stay live for one year and can be accessed on any device. You can sort into favorites, purchase prints straight from the gallery, and share the link with any friends & family. It's a beautiful, simple way of digitally sharing your day with loved ones! The images are yours to keep and make unlimited prints from, just be sure to download and save your photos to your own hard drive!
engagement session
Engagement sessions are the perfect practice round to your wedding day. It allows us to get to know each other; for me to see how you to interact with one another and what your best poses are, and for you to experience how I pose and direct the two of you! By the time the wedding day rolls around, you'll be pros and a natural in front of my camera. I'll be a friendly face on your wedding day instead of just "the photographer." Plus, engagement sessions make for the best dates! They're fun, romantic, and memorable.
heirloom album
These are truly the best way for you to display your wedding day photos - in a custom designed, heirloom linen album printed with the highest quality colors and materials. I call them heirlooms because they're meant to be passed down for generations, and are made to last for lifetimes! Albums begin at 10x10 with 10 spreads/20 pages. additional spreads and customization can be added!
At the end of the day, all that you'll have left to look back on is the photos. And you'll return to these photos year after year until one day you share them with your grandchildren. Let's make your photos last. Let's make them matter.

The Fine Print
A 30% non-refundable retainer fee and a signed contract is required to save one's date.
All prices are subject to a sales tax rate of 7.25%
It’s important to find a photographer whose images you love, of course! But another HUGE element to choosing your photographer is realizing you will be with them for the majority of your wedding day, and this will affect the whole atmosphere for you, your groom, your bridal party, and even your family and guests. In short, you have to like being around your photographer too! When you hire me as your wedding photographer, you’re not just getting a few hours of coverage on your wedding day. You’re getting my 10 years of practicing photography, my artistic vision, my calming personality and happy attitude, my editing time, and an overall wonderful experience that adds to the beauty of your wedding day! When you look back at your images, you won’t just see what happened that day, but you’ll FEEL the emotions all over again.
Why should we choose you over any other photographer?
I have found that 8 hours is generally the sweet spot for wedding day coverage. This allows me to be there for the tail end of “Getting Ready” and zipping the dress up, all the way through some, or all, of the reception. I have shot 6-hour wedding days, which can be done but often at the expense of not getting many bride and groom portraits (my favorite part, and my couples’ favorite part), or needing to leave the reception early. Now, if you're eloping and are mostly just looking for photos of the vows and portraits of the two of you, we can discuss a smaller package!
HOW MANY HOURS OF COVERAGE DO I NEED?
Most of my couples tell me that the engagement session is their FAVORITE part of wedding planning! It is fun, exciting, romantic, and stress-free. It also gives us a chance to get to know each other before the day of your wedding! You are able to see how I pose and direct my clients, and I am able to see how you two interact with each other, and which poses are most flattering. It is like a practice run for the wedding day! With that being said, I have shot many weddings without meeting my couple in person before the wedding day, and we always end up with gorgeous images no matter what!
DO WE NEED AN ENGAGEMENT SESSION?
The answer to this question depends a lot on your timeline and also your expectations of coverage. If both you and your groom want Getting Ready photos, but will be getting ready at the same time OR in two different locations (meaning, not in the same building), then you should consider adding a second photographer to your package so I can “be in two places at once.” Or, if you are choosing to not have a First Look and want to get a few family portraits done before the ceremony with your individual families, you should choose to add a second photographer. If you have a tight timeline, I would also suggest adding a second photographer so they can photograph ceremony + reception details while I shoot portraits! However, if your timeline is more flexible, if you have a VERY small wedding party or no wedding party at all, if your wedding is more along the lines of an elopement or more intimate setting, you will be just fine with only me shooting!
DO WE NEED A SECOND PHOTOGRAPHER?
Weddings are my favorite to photograph because they combine the best of both worlds: one that allows me to direct and compose artistic shots, and the other that allows me to create a documentary-style unfolding of your day. There will be times on your wedding day that I will pose you and give you cues to interact. There will be times I need to be in control in order to stay on schedule (think family formals). But there will be other times when you shouldn't (and won't!) even notice I am there.
My shooting style also takes into account my love of film - so your images will be bright, colorful, and true-to-life. A natural and classic approach to editing that allows your images to remain timeless from the moment you receive them, to the moment your great grand-children view them.
HOW WOULD YOU DESCRIBE YOUR SHOOTING STYLE?
On a wedding day, I average about 75 images per hour of shooting. For an 8-hour day, you can expect at least 600 images in your gallery. I love delivering my client's files quickly and easily via an online gallery. You will have the ability to print, share, and download your images as much as you want.
HOW DO YOU DELIVER MY DIGITAL FILES?
My recommended wedding includes 8-10 hours of wedding day coverage with a second photographer for $3699. This includes a second photographer, a complimentary engagement session, a 10x10 heirloom album, and an online gallery.
I offer special pricing for elopements and less wedding day coverage ONLY on weekdays.
WHAT CAN I EXPECT TO SPEND?
Let me know and I will send out a digital contract and ask for a 30% non-refundable reservation fee to hold your date! Please remember all packages are subject to 7.25% sales tax.
We can also schedule a time to chat on the phone or "meet" in person via a Zoom conference and go over any remaining questions you might have, or just to make sure we will be a good fit!
